I believe Extraterrestrial life exists. I hope it will be discovered before 2069. When we discover other living forms it will probably be on a microscopic level. Have no doubt though, we will one day discover unquestionable proof of life on other worlds. The dangers of discovery would most likely be the actions taken from our own ignorance. Possible benefits might mean a profound connecting of our world's culture's and a unifying peace of knowing we are not alone. We should transmit a beacon for other's to find, if only for the remote possibility of receiving an responce. How about sending pulses of powerfully focused light, like a lighthouse in space. I run Seti@home for the chance that we just may discover something. I love this project and hope it continues.
