Hi-ho,
I've just hooked up to seti for testing a Linux Cluster setup in the garage, as sad as that may sound! :-).
I'm the IT manager for the local council, and am a certifiable geek. I also play with R/C models, and ride a big-bore touring bike for fun. |

Although I think that SETI@home is the computer equivalent of searching for a gnat's ear on the antarctic continent with a hairdrier and tweezers, the attraction of being part of a distributed processing project on this scale is very interesting for the geek in me.
Was that one sentance? Hope you took a breath while reading it...
