Personal background
I'm 16. I live in Italy and I discovered Seti@home with one friend of mine. His name is Mario and he is a vet. I went to him this summer and practice some vet wwork and I enjoyed a lot. He is a stars and planets fanatic and so we decided to subscribe at Seti@home. Unfortunately he has got an old Mac that spend hours and hours (about 200) on a singol packet of data!!! Well, now I'm in and I want to help Seti!!!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think et exsist!!! How can't them??? Well, humans will find them, I'm sure but when!!! i realy don't know!!! Hoping in a bit!!! i think there should be only benefits in discovering et. and not dangers... we can learn a such more by descovering them, don't we??? And what can they do t us!?!? Probably nothing!
we should send beacon to let others discover us, but... i really don't know what to send. But aren't there scientist and experts that study what to send? Ask them this question!!!
Well, I answered this question above. I think it's a really good project. If it is a bad one I didn't sucsribe anymore!!! Any suggestion??? Let me think of them and i'll tell you!!! Just one right now: there should be more add-ons for Mac and Linux. Windows isn't the only OS!!!
