Personal background
My largest hobby is my passion for astronomy. My passion is infinite and just keeps on expanding. I love to just look at the stars and imagine what is going on. Since August 28, 2003 I have gotten bigger in astronomy. I hope to start an astronomy club in my community. I plan to get a P.H.D. in astronomy or cosmology in order to be an astrophysicist. That is currently my dream job. I learn a range of information that is linked to astronomy in order to understand the subject more . I currently am reading Steven Hawking Books on his perspective of science.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@home because I feel like we should expand our knowledge on E.T. I only wish I could run it on more than two computers. The project I think is a great one and should get more sponsoring. Before we transmit a beacon to find others or for others to find we should focus on one thing at a time. But when we transmit a beacon it should be simple and in more than one format including information about our planet, human race, and scientific laws. I certainly do think extraterrestrial life exists. I feel that way because how is it possible that we are the only life forms to exist throughout billions of light-years. That is inconceivable to me. I think humans will encounter life forms within the next 1000 years and aliens will pick up either information from a satellite or come to Earth using their technology. The pros for encountering with E.T. are we could learn more about ourselves and also other worlds and infinity. I can't even think of what could be good or bad that aliens could teach us. The cons could be they'd take advantage of us and take over the human race.
