Personal background
41.Welsh. A poet. A man.

Here's the first draft of a poem, needs refining yet. For us all who are waiting....wherever we are. the poem is called 'Earthlight'......

I float among stars, twirling awhile, lost.
In rapture of your heavenly light.
Tenderly you fall upon me.
Your beauty so radiant, in the blackness of my night.
So far. So far. Your sojourn through the skies.
But now my love, your lovely form, steals slowly into my eyes.
Wave upon wave you roll on to my shore.
Far from your Earth but have no fear.
Your love you bring, to mine, waiting here............
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we're probably all alone in the whole of this great big universe...but if we're not, maybe someone's waiting for us, just like we're waiting for them.

If not, then we need to 'find each other', here on Earth, and love one another, because maybe we're all we've got.

I like the thought that if we find someone out there, it could be somebody at home, whose PC has been silently crunching away in the background, that finds them and they probably won't even know they've done it.
