Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
For me the first time i fully understood just how small we are was when i got my dob scope from my dad. Now it's only a 6inch but it sure did make me think about what is out there.
Even now as i write this i feel restricted just as much as the rest of the human population to fully understand just how big this cosmos is. So much so it makes me feel claustraphobic. To be stuck on this planet or speck of dust. So much out there and and yet i'm HERE!.... stuck on a speck of dust along with 6bn others.
So small that we are.... It's not the aliens we have to worry about its ONE big chunk of rock that'll do the damage. Coz if anything it's the aliens that are going to save us. Looking at the way the world is going today 90% are not ready to save them self.
SETI being one right step and also to NASA that is reaching to the beyond. And also to the other companies and organizations that are reaching for the same goals.... For as long as i can keep my pc on the net my pc will always be at your ready.
Best wishes in finding that lucky signal before that unlucky chunk of rock finds us.
