| I run the SETI@home program, not only because of my respect for the project & this unique and clever approach to data analysis, but also in memory of astronomer & science popularizer Carl Sagan. I have no idea whether or not it will ever net any compelling results, but it is one human endeavor that does no harm, & has noble goals. |
