| Living in Virginia Beach, Virginia, I retired from the U. S. Navy in 1994 after 26 years service. I took a year off to goof around and intended to get a job in the telecommunications field. However, my wife, Miss Julie, at an early age, developed Alzhemier's and has since passed away. So I took another year off, and another, and have just never gone back to work, So I am now retired and enjoying the beach and my only hobby - Genealogy and a full study of the Shobe, and allied families, history. |
