Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have always been interested in space and the prospect of there being other life somewhere out there in our galaxy or in some other far off galaxy. I believe that despite the astronomical odds against life forming spontaneously, the universe is so large that even with tiny odds there must be at least one other planet with life on it. My computer at home sits idle most of the time while I'm at work and vice versa when I'm at home so I figured why let all of those CPU cycles go to waste, why not aid in the search for ET.
