| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I first became interested in SETI@home after reading about SETI@home in a computer magazine before the program had started, I have always been interested in such things as UFOs, and extraterrestrial intelligence and space and time travel, and so SETI at home was the only way for me to get involved in a worthwhile science project.
I would like to think that we are not alone in the universe but I am not sure, maybe we are the first planet to support life but with the size of the known universe being so large I suspect that live is widespread but with very large distances between them, so large is this distance that I doubt that we will ever know, I think there are dangers and benefits of the discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence both for us and for them, I think that we should transmit our own signal for others to find, I also think we should send an human body in a space craft out into deep space for them to find, I am sure someone would donate their body after their death for such a project, I would donate my body after death for this task.
