Personal background
Hi , I am a 37 year old self employed IT consultant in Ajax, Ontario, Canada (a little east of Toronto). While I try not to my works does sometimes interfere with my hobbies of riding my 2000 VStar 1100 Motorcycle or playing Solo Cornet in the Whitby Brass Band (who is BTW celebrating their 140th aniversary!).

My home business is Durham Business Outsource and we do everything a small business can't. IT Services, marketing, accounting, facilities, etc...Give us a shout.

What else can I say..Hmmmm.. I have a big cat named Sam (the III) who is the product of a manecoons night out on the town (manecoon is a really big long doemstic cat) who is the biggest love sponge on this planet. Unfortunately he still thinks he is a kitten and doesnt take into consideration his size when dogding breakables...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ETL? Sure I beleive...I think we would be pretty cenceited to think that we are it. What a waste of space that would be...The big prob is, could the human ego handle know that we aren't masters of our universe anymore..probably not...Should we transmit? Sure but I think that is a moot point now considering we have been transmitting TEMW for decades now.

Why do I run SETI at home...at first, the novelty of it all..then a little friendly competition..now, to see how many different platforms I can get it running on at once...solaris, linux, 98, NT4, 2000 (*5), Novell, and I am about to try the AS/400 client (wish me luck)
