| I am a hairdresser in the Chicagoland area. I am 38 years old and grew up on Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and let's not forget Dr. Who!! I have many special gifts, one of which is deriving great satisfaction from helping others. Another is turning adversity into opportunity. I also tend to be a bit altruistic. I do believe the greatest miracles in life are right in front of our eyes, and all we have to do is open them in order to live the lesson! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Both my brother and I became acquainted with SETI@HOME during the first couple of months after its release. Since then I have set up a network of five computers in my house and everyone one of them does number crunching for Seti. I do believe that with all of the variations of life here on earth, that we cannot help but believe that there is other intelligence in the universe. And since at times in our lives we tend to have trouble finding intelligent life here on earth, I figure you guys need all of the help you can get finding it out in the heavens. All my best and I am glad that I could help!!!
