Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
Why should we be the only ones?
2. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Haven't we been doing that for at least the past 50 years?
3. Why do you run seti@home?
No special reason. If there was one that benefited medical research I would have proabably signed up for that at the time. I think SETI@HOME was one of the first though.
