| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Hope so. When will we discover? Maybe tomorrow, maybe never. I think that first humans got to get out of this planet before anything can be found. The only benefit, at first, must be the knowledge that we are not alone, and danger, that it's gonna cause a panic.
2. why not. Information ain't important, let's send just something that receiver understands it's intelligent.
3. I just happend to drop by your site, 'cause science and space has always interested me. And found this screensaver. Great. Though I've heard it long time ago. Why not be useful if I can help somehow. And ofcourse, there's always tiny possibility that MY computer finds out something interesting :)
I hope that somehow you can find the funds to go on and search the whole sky above us. Have you ever concidered local "salesmen" to those countries you have SETI@home -users, to inform Your views and needs about this project? |
