OK then here it goes... Just a few words about myself. My name is Helena, born 1971 and I'm from Switzerland. I live in Zurich and I am married since 2004.
Since I was a little child, I am a great StarTrek-Fan and also very interested in astronomy. I don't believe that the human kind is alone in this universe, so SETI was just a logicial step... |

Yes there MUST be another kind of lifeform, this universe is too big for us alone!
Sometimes in the future - I hope so, no, I believe - the human race will make contact with extraterrestrial lifeforms. But until then, we have to solve first our problems with our home, our planet, the Earth, because when we do not, there will be no humans left to travel into space...
So it is understandable why I am a fan of StarTrek. The vision of StarTrek is exactly that. Freedom on earth first (!) and an intact nature, then travel to other planets... |
