Profile: Big Craigie

Personal background
Always been fascinated by space and science fiction etc. I am a firm believer that we are not alone and that a lot of humanity has been shaped by others from another world. I live in Whitburn in Scotland and if you wish to see where I live then visit my website http://www.eh47.freeserve.co.uk Whitburn On The Web. I am not working at the moment but I like to do graphics on the computer mainly using Photoshop and I am a musician and have a wee studio in my flat.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've known about SETI for years but only knew about SETI@home a couple of years ago. As soon as I found out, I signed up. Time will tell if it is a worthwhile project. As computing speeds get higher all the time SETI@home results and analysis will get better and quicker and more of the sky will be mapped in a shorter time. At the end of the day, we are an exploring species and eventually we will have to leave out earth and expand. Whether we can do it peacefully or not is another matter. There is always the possibility that other species more advanced may have the same intentions. What will they look like ? from ET to the creature in Alien or Independence Day, or even take a form which is beyond our understanding.
