Quote of the day:

I've always been mad, I know I've been mad,
like the most of us are.
They have to explain why you're mad,
                 even if you're not mad.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that life probably does exist elsewhere, I mean beyond the confines of our own planet.

Will it exist in our time frame? Will it broadcast radio waves? Will the signals reach us and can they be detected? And will we recognise the signals if they can?

I do not know the answers to these questions, but I like how the SETI people have set up their project to listen and analyse.

I am thrilled to be a small part of a large cooperative human endeavour.
