Profile: PhantonRonin

Personal background
Where i'm from: I currently reside in Austin, TX, but I was born and raised in Houston, TX.

Occupation: I work as an administrative consultant for Momentum Technical Consulting (www.momentum-inc.com), part-time as I am currently pursuing a baccalaureate in engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

Hobbies: Reading history, fishing, hanging out with friends, bike riding, watching Star Trek, watching Star Wars, watching James Bond, and shooting things.

Anything else: I like to think I am a combination of James T. Kirk, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan), and Luke Skywalker (ROTJ). Interestingly enough, my favorite Star Trek character is Dr. McCoy, and my favorite Star Wars character is Emperor Palpatine. Pierce Brosnan is still my favorite Bond. Favorite starship? NCC-1701-A (The one in ST6; the one in ST5 sucked).

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it exists. There's no evidence to suggest that the Lord only made one sentient species. If that were the case, he would of made only one kind of animal, plant, etc. I think that if he only made one kind of animal, it would have been Beagles. They are just plain cool. If he only made one kind of plant, it would be blackberry bushes. They are really good too.
