Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?

yes, but don't ask me to try to explain... just accept that i do

If so, when and how will humans discover it?

   i do not know

What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

   benefits? technology

dangers? did you see that movie independence day? hehe :)

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?

   yes

If so, what information should we send?

   i do not know

Why do you run SETI@home?

it's a pretty cool idea... this whole distributed thing

What are your views about the project?

   i do not know
