1. Oh I DO think there is life somewhere out there, but in a galaxy far, far away ;)....like people hope that it's life on Mars or Europa (one of jupiters moons)...nah...I don't think so...well ok maybe, a single cell lifeform, but not of any kind to learn very much technological advances from ;)...but I "know" we're not alone, it would be very egosentric to claim that the human race is the ONLY life form in (ALL) the universe(s)! we've just discovered a little dot of the whole thing, so it MUST be someone else out there!
I really HOPE I will live to see the first sign of life outside this blue marble (and/or outside our solar system)...but when?...gee that's a tough one...but i think a faint signal from one of the very FIRST probes we sent beyond Pluto will show forms of organic life, maybe intelligent life too!
When we discover life in space, I guess and hope there will be world peace, (provided that all countries get to KNOW it, that is)...then the leaders of all countries would concentrate on preparing the public on what to expect when the time comes when the visitors arrive...because they WILL come, eventually...who knows, maybe they're under way as I type this...ETA 40 yrs or something...so the world leaders should get their fingers out of their butts and inform the public!!
2. I think that we're not ready to recieve any visitors yet...Where would we put them?;D....no seriously...i mean, if the governments all over the world use cover up stories like weather balloons and other things when witnesses with very good credibility claim to have seen both alien bodies and crafts, then the military part of this planet is not ready to greet visitors, even if the public are VERY ready! (it's no use hiding it, we assume it anyways;)....before we can greet alien visitors, we must unite in world peace so the governments wouldn't be so damn nervous about letting another country get the upper hand if they discover some alien technology they can use for military purposes....CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!? |
