Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
I run SETI@home for a couple of reasons.

1 - my machines are on all the time anyway so they may as well do something worthwhile when I am not using them

2 - on the off chance that my machine is the one to discover ET, I could use the 15 minutes of fame. :)

aThoughts about ETI
I think that ET is out there. I am not sure if they are looking for us at the same time, but I think that once we make contact, it will change the world in a positive way.a
