Personal background
I'm only 16 years old but I recognize the importance of this program. I play sports do my school work and have fun, but I am also dedicating computer time to this valubale research program. I think anyone reading this if you are not a member already, should download it and do their part. Even if you complete just one data packet, every little bit helps. Thank you.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The odds are greater that there is an alien intelligence in the Universe besides ourselves then the odds that there is not. The height of arrogance is thinking we are the only intelligent beings (and sometimes I'm not even sure we are intelligent but thats not the point). We must look for signals in the sky because they are probably there just waiting to be found. This is a great program and I'm proud to do my part.
