Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm a sci-fi fan and believe the possibility of etraterrestrial life. I think they will probably discover us first. And like all the other "discoveries" we have made, there are plenty of benefits and dangers. But for me the benefits of knowing there is more to our universe than just us and the hope of something greater far outweighs the dangers. We are probably the greatest danger to ourselves at any rate.
