Just crunching away in the world of distributed computing
I bundle up the optimized app from SETI and host them on my site.
I work at the Petro Truck Stop and live in Golden Valley, AZ.
I currently process units on a home built Q8200 with a GTX460 (2.33 GHz) and a AMD X4-630 with a GTX560 and a HD5830 (2.8 GHz) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I think there is life out there, maybe not as we know it but it is there. The scientific advantages of discovering other life out there would be well worth it in my opinion.
I run SETI because my computer is idle a lot and I feel this is a worthwhile pursuit. |
