Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? Yes.
If so, when and how will humans discover it? Maybe never if we don't stop all the fighting and start exploring!
What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery? All the things in the SF movies.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send? Not yet. I want to know if most other species are preadators like us. In which case no!
Why do you run SETI@home? It's cool!
