| As i soend most of my time researching and writing about politics and politicians, I desperately hope that there are civilizations out there that aren't run by morons, creatins, and money hungry vermin. Does that sound a bit jaded? |

| Again, I hope that there are civilizations that have gone past the violent, greedy, selfish world that we live in. Perhaps, by seeking out worlds full of thinking beings, we can eventually come to a place where we can finally think of ourselves as one planet rather than members of hundreds of little countries whose only boundaries are lines drawn on paper. |
