Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. yes. not for a long, long time. no dangers, only benefits because any race more advanced will be more peaceful.

2. of course. Information identical to that of the record left on the Moon and floating through deep space. Mathematics is also universal.

3. because it's an easy way to contribute to the discovery of science. Thumbs up! More people should use SETI@Home--there's no cost!
