Personal background |
I always loved the stars and the feeling of being underneath them in the Indiana night when I was younger. I still love that feeling no matter where I am. It makes me stop and think about how lucky I am to be able to witness the universe from our little ball of rock in the sky. It actually takes my breath away on a night when you can see hundreds of thousands of stars. And then someone says "There's no one else out there" and I just laugh. If thats what they want to think, then fine, it's their choice. I believe there is other forms of life out there somewhere. Whether we (the human race as it is here on this planet) will ever set eyes on that life, is yet to be devulged.
I just got a new computer- an AMD 64 3400 processor runs it. My workunit times have gone from over 80 hours ( on a 400mhz chip) to just around 3 hours. I hope this helps Seti@home. I know they are winding down and I hope to jump on the next program, and maybe the protein folding program also. Well, if I make user of the day, it's only thanks to my 64 bit chip and its 2.2 Ghz speed. Thanks SETI and see y'all in the stars:)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Yes I do think life exist elsewhere, you'd would be blind not too!! We will just stumble upon it very far future. It will be a big change in our lives. We allready are sending info out there, just not organized. I'll bet we've been spotted and are being watched allready. And I run SETI@HOME because I can! Thanks SETI@HOME!! |
