Hello Everyone here is a little info about me. Birthday: Friday May 28, 1954 Hobbies: Astronomy, Chemistry, music, geology (Rock Hound), organic farming ( this is one of my lively hood the other I am a ordained minister, and an Activist for Industrial Hemp), Digital photography, short wave lessening (I use to be a ham radio operator KA0RCD and yes sooner or later I will get my tech license) Location: Seneca Missouri USA (Hornet Missouri Home of the Hornet Spook Light) Way out in the farmland where you can see the Milky Way (I understand the sad fact that 2/3 of the American population can not see the Milky Way because of light pollution).

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Sure they are out there somewhere the odd's are good how can you ignore that extraterrestrial life does exists. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? My answer to that is we have done this since the first wireless by Heinrich Hertz in 1888 you never know how far that old spark-gap transmitted message could be intercepted by a extraterrestrial and that was about 114 years ago just think of what kind of receiver and antenna it would take to do this.
