Personal background
Hello Hello.
I'm a soon to be 21 year computer geek.
I call montreal and it's surrounding regions my home, even tho i was born and raised in ottawa, ontario.
This is all in canada, by the way ;)
I'm an advid movie fan, enjoy the regular video game, and on occasion, love to pick up a good J.R.R Tolkien book.
I'm still in school, working on a web programming degree.
If i lived another life, i'd be a movie director.
In the meantime, i'll write some screenplays.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, i'm adamantly certain that there is intelligent life out there, somewhere in this vast space. How do i think human will discover it? Heheh well i'm pretty humble, so i wouldn't even flirt about knowing how, scientifically, or under what circumstances, that the human race will discover it. However, i'd like to think that maybe some of the next generation HSTs (hubble space telescopes) will be SO powerful that they'll pick up something out there that might illustrate intelligent life.

The only danger i see of such a discovery would be if a "compassionately conservative" government would start to waste more money on a newly created space defense program rather than dump money into the labs of these great scientific societies. This is the true GROWTH of a collective, united, borderless world, a beautiful world of science.

Thank you people for doing what you do.

Yes i believe we should transmit signs of our life...some mathematical way to describe our history, our developments in the worlds of physics and mathematics...let others out there know how advanced we are...maybe they'll come here quicker to meet us and help us out ;)

I run this client because i want to do all i could in the world of science. i'm no brain, but if i can waste no cpu cycles for this ambitious effort, then by all means, take 'em all.
