Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Nope.
2. Nope. Nobody is out there yet.
3. Test CPU usage.
I think that humans sending robotic explorers will start life on other planets because microscopic bacteria from Earth left on the equipment could survive. There is possibly life on Mars, but it came from Earth via the rover.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
