30-something from the South Eastern US. Been a SETI@home participant for a little over 3 years.
Started processing workunits on a Pentium 116MHz, then a Pentium II @ 233MHz and now I'm using a P3 @ 450MHz. I'm closing in on the 250 WU milestone and will continue helping out for the life of the SETI@home project. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I firmly believe that other intelligent life is out there, somewhere, just waiting to be found.
Do I think we'll find it sometime soon? I don't know if we, the human race, are ready for an ET contact right now. But after viewing the stats for this project, I believe that we are moving toward a time when we will be ready if and when that contact occurs. |
