| I am a "Generation X'er" from Columbus Ohio. I have always been interested in science, sci-fi, computers, technology and gadgets. My wife's name is Coralene, and I have three kids, Cameron, Michael the 3rd and Tessa. I currently work for a Cable Television company and test and repair the converter boxes. When I am not working I am building computers, watching movies or spending time with my family. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I was one of the biggest fan of "Cosmos" when I was a kid and it first came out. I must have seen the complete series at least 8 times. I just can not imagine Mankind being the only life in a universe so immensely huge. So when I heard about SETI@HOME I had to take a couple of old comptuers I had and get them processing data for the project. While I highly doubt that there is anything like "Star Wars" out there, I am sure there is something out there vastly more interesting. While SETI could be considered "Pure Science", and many people question the sensibility of "Pure Science", I feel that knowledge of anykind benifits Mankind. |
