| I am 24 years old, I work for Internet America Inc and currently live in Irving Texas. I enjoy many things from online gaming, to star gazing, reading books, just about anything with computers, and of course I have a great interest in the SETI program. I am elated being part of such a project where I can help out. I am the founder of 2 groups for SETI@home. I have a wife and 13mo son. |

| I do think there is intelligent life out there, just as with us some will be friendly and some will be hostile, we simply need to be prepared for either. We should send out a beacon, this would only increase our odds of contact. I would love to be able to say "I helped find the first ET signal," that is the main reason, also I looked up at the sky one night and saw a big, bright twinkle and wondered if that was the place. It turned out to be Sirius, the dog star. I am huge Sci-fi fan and would love to see humans united in the cause of exploration of space. Keep it up SEIT@home, perhaps this project might turn the heads of government heads and see that there are millions that come from every corner of the globe united under one common goal and perhaps, this will lead to more global cooperation in the field of science and space for the better of our race. |
