Personal background
Hi!
I'm a 35 year old 3D animator working in television in London and have been an avid SETI@home user since it's inception.
As i'm often asked, for instance, to visualize early life on the Earth and planetary systems other than ours, my work allows me to research many science subjects.
SETI is one of these.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home to help all of us who want to know.
I'd like to thank you guys and gals in making the SETI accessible to all of us. Fingers crossed!

Extraterrestrial life MUST exist.
After all, we are here as our ancestors were since not long after water first began precipitating onto the early Earth.
Almost on a weekly basis scientists announce new evidence of 'the building blocks of life' just floating between the stars.
Not that i'm a panspermia advocate (well not yet...) but in a Universe this big, anything can happen.

In as far as publicizing our presence to all and sundry I think the by-word should be caution.
Look, we can't even get along with each other properly yet, let alone with beings who WILL think differently than us.
To them we might even be 'food that talks'.
I digress.....
