Profile: Cap'n Crunch

Personal background
I currently attend Southwest Missouri State University and have a deep interest in astronomy. I plan to transfer to the University of Arizona next year to finish my undergraduate degree. My hobbies include computers, art, astronomy, backpacking/camping, skiing, and frisbee. I help run the online community named Fraggle Rock. We came together by playing Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, but the community is much more than that now.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Yes, I do believe e.t. life exists. I don't see how anyone who knows how expansive our universe is could believe otherwise. I don't want to speculate on any possible first contacts, although it would be interesting if it were similar to the one portrayed in Star Trek.
2.Yes, a beacon might be a good way of contacting e.t. life. I think that a picture of Earth from orbit would be a good way of saying, "Look, we've gone outside the limitations of our planet".
3.I run SETI@home for fun. I think it's interesting to help out with an international project aimed at capturing radio signals from outer space with the hopes of finding life somewhere else. It's definitely a project worth attention.
