Personal background
I'm a 22 year-old guy, originally from Yugoslavia, but living in Zimbabwe. I am the Technical Manager at a computer company called Logical Solutions. I spend my days in the world of SCI-FI reading books by writers such as William Gibson, Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke to name a few. My whole life I have been a huge fan of shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, FarScape and am a fervent believer in life within and beyond the borders of the known Universe, thus my support of the SETI@Home Project.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Absolutely....The universe is too massive to assume that Earth is the only planet able to sustain an intelligent life form.

2. Yep....what's the point of finding other life forms if we are not going to communicate with them. The beacon should contain general information of our language, some of our history and culture.

3. I run SETI@home because I believe that the SETI project is one of the best ideas that the human race has come up yet. I believe that we would all benefit imensely by expanding beyond the reaches of our own "neighbourhood". The shear idea that there could be other life in the universe makes our existence worth something...it gives us a purpose in life....
