Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 - I run SETI mainly for curiosity and as a enthusiast of astronomy. Also i truly believe this pioneer effort can bring results for a greater action towards looking for and listening out to the stars...

2 - Truly amazing, and for those 12 years im a member, i have raised the flag for the cause, whenever it happens! The one thing i see is that SETI still is for nerds only, cause it fails to delivery its purpose, goals and information in a more accessible language and/or format... Im not sure whats the deal in this, but im speaking as a nerd who works in a ad agency, so this is just my feeling.

3 - Back to the previous question: Make SETI@Home more pop! Im not sure how, but the basics of advertising should show some results:
-- More interaction with social networks,
-- more "general public" blog posts with numbers-charts-graphics-videos
-- More class room and DIY contents, or something that brings people closer to SETIs activity... The users could post their experiments and so on, creating a more interactive and rich experience for web visitors.... While writing this very comment, ive realized this may be the main issue to get Seti@home to the main stream: make it interactive and connected with the main networks...
