I'm an IT Manager for a company in the Central Valley of California.
I have two kids, a girl and a boy. Lucky me!! They are both wonderful. I've been very happily married since June, 1994 to my beautiful wife Sarah.
I enjoy all kinds of different activities. I love any kind of boating. Some thing about the water just seems relaxing. Snow skiing is always fun. I have a project Porsche I'm rebuilding when I have the time. Plus, I like MMORPG's. |

I do believe there is life in the universe other than on planet earth. The universe is a big place for us to be alone in it. I believe there is a lot of life out there. I'm not sure if we've ever been visited by anyone, but I certainly can't discount the possibility. I believe we will find evidence of life off our planet within the next 10 years.
Maybe I'm just an optimist, but I certainly hope anything we find out there will be friendly. As for possible benefits, I think they are endless. I think maybe the worst thing about discovering extraterrestrial life would be our own fears. It seems we have a hard enough time getting among with ourselves.
I think we should transmit some type of beacon. We may not be about to reach them, or they use, buy it could be the first step in communication. I'm not exactly sure what I think any kind of message should say. If they are capable of receiving it, they should be able to find out where we are easily enough.
I run Seti because I like the idea. Millions of people coming together to help find some thing that no thinks even exist. It's a great idea.
