I'm a 47 year old computer consultant from New Jersey. I'm an avid patriot helping to restore the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. I'm also currently working with a team to deliver technologies that will elminate our dependency on oil and nuclear power. I've always been fasinated with outer space and ETs. We may be lonely, but we are definitely not alone!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I definitely think that extraterrestrial life exists. However, they won't contact us until we get past our "nuclear threshold", and we can prove that we are a stable civilation. At that point, several ETs will reach out to us and there will only be benefits from those interactions.
Transmitting a beacon would be useless at this point in time, because no advanced life forms would intervene in our world because we are so volatile.
I run SETI@home in hopes of helping discover evidence of more advanced life forms. This discovery alone, will help the human race get it's act together.
The SETI@home project is an excellent example of what we can do if we work together. The project is well run and I'm proud to be a small part of it.
