I am a techno maniac from the prairies. If I can afford it I will buy it. I specialize in computers and programming. I hope to someday (after I finnish my evil double major) to move to England and live at my families home. I enjoy creating diaramas and adding moving elements to the diaramas. My current project is a modular train set.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There are billions of stars in this galaxy, billions of galaxies in space, if we are the only thing here then what a waist. I am not sure how advanced extraterrestrial life will be and how far out they may be but one day I feel that we will meet with them and we will have to abandon our preconceptions of normality for with near infinite possible worlds there will come near infinite forms of life of every stage of technical development. We must continue to listen and speak to the skies and hope someone is listening as well. Advances in technology and patience are the key. We have so much to learn and we are not going to learn it all here.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
