| I am a 42yr old Aussie, married with 4 boys ranging from 11 to 18. I am an ex-Firefighter. I resigned after 17 years service and with my wife we now run our own Tip Truck hire business from home. Have been a bit of a work-a-holic over the years and so have decided to slow down a bit and spend more time with the family going camping and the like. When not doing that most of my spare time is spent on the Internet chasing information, resources, software or whatever excuse I can find to be online. Love new technology so am always looking for new things to try out, be it software, PC hardware, gadgets, machinery or tools. My wife dreads me going out shopping for fear of what I might bring home. My only attempts at websites are at http://www.debittax.com a web site I created for a mate for putting forward an alternative idea for taxation. It might not ever come about but it has attracted attention from around the world and has started people talking about alternatives to their present systems whereever they are. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| My PC runs 24/7 so it is good to see its idle time being used for something constructive like the Seti@home project. Whether the project is successful or not it is good to see so many people working together voluntarily to try and achieve something that otherwise might not be possible. |
