Personal background
Greatings to all of you.

I joined SETI@HOME to prove what I already know, that there
is (out there somewhere)other life in the Universe. I don't
care if you are the President of these great United States,
if you try to tell me that we are all alone in this great
Big Universe, I'll tell you you're wrong. No one can tell me
that in all the Universe that the Earth is the only planet
with any kind of intelligent life on it. I think that there
are other forms of life in the Universe, they may not be as
advanced as we are, or they may be more advanced and adhere
to a "Prime Directive" (Sorry Mr. Rodenberry)of non interferance.
Well in either case. I believe that they are out there.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we need more projects like Seti@Home. Projects that
bring people from all over the world together for common goal.

The 1st becon is already out there, drifting in space, far
beyond our solor system now. If anyone finds it, and can understand
it's contents, they are going to get information that is decades old
and have a very vague picture of humanity. We need to send something
from Mother Earth that can be updated on a regular basis. That way
if anyone is listening then they get the whole picture, not just
the picture of life as it was 20, 30, 50 or 60 years ago.

As a species we humans changes so fast, we are forever discovering
new things. And if we expect other lifeforms to judge us based on
outdated information they may never make contact with us.
