and am a 3rd degree black belt in judo.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI@home is a useful project. It is inconceivable that with all the millions
galaxies and millions of stars in each, that life does not exist elsewhere.
It is extremely arrogant of humans to think otherwise. I don't know if this
project will detect any intelligent signals, but it is work the effort. Such a
finding can or should have a dramatic effect on human beings in terms of waking
up to how insignificant we earthlings are in the grand scheme of things.
