I'm computer freak with interests of all possible natural sciences. Major interests are in paleontology (and evolution which is related to it) and astronomy.
I work in University of helsinki as a sysadmin. I also play roguelike game "angband". Highly addictive, be careful if you start playing it too ;-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti project is a good for humanity. If we find extra terressial intelligence then that proves we are not alone and perhaps diminishes some peoples believes that they are "chosen people".
ET:s do exists. It's just matter of time to figure out where. I believe they will be found in next 20 years.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
