Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I tjink there's no possibility that extra terrestial wouldn't exist. I picture the universe as a room. And each form of life as a little bit of dust. Maybe the room is very clean but there's no way there aren't any other pieces of dust beside us. (if you would see my room, then you'll know there's a tremendous amount of lifeforms scattered in the universe ;-) )

Some people seem to believe we're goint to find the first evidence of extraterrestial life within ten years. I do not support that. My guess we won't find it within the next 500 years. Our technology (how sophisticated it may even look to most of us) is way to simple. Imagine that only a few months ago we found evidence that there was water on mars. And that planet is just a stone-throw away.
