Hello I'm a French Canadian residing in Laval, Québec. I'm 67 years old, married with 5 children and 5 grand children I am retired since June 2000, but prior to my retirement I have worked since 1953 in the insurance industry in various positions and during the past 20 years,I was working as a Professional Liability Manager and Underwriter for an international Insurer.
I now do woodworking in my basement and spend a lot of time building furnitures and various projects for myself, family and friends. I also got interested in computers since 1990 and spend a lot of time on it for various projects i.e Photography album, Genealogy,Personal bookeeping and records of invoices, drawing plans and sketches for woodworking projects,and various tasks. I also enjoy fishing and occasionally small games hunting. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Since I was very young I always thought that we were not alone in the universe and that someday we would find signs of life somewhere in our galaxy or somewhere else in the universe. I always had interest in astronomy and the
search for extra terrestrial life. When I discovered SETI in November 1999 I thought this could be my contribution for the search for extra terrestrial life. I only hope that SETI someday will be able to scan a broader area of the
Universe with more advanced technology and equipement.
