Personal background
I was born in 1983, in Finland, where I live still today. I'm studying Rich Media (which includes tv/video, mobile and web production). I'm a huge fan of intellectual science fiction like A.C.Clarke. Space and astronomy have always inspired me. If we ever find the Truth, it will be found from space.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Q: Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

A: I think it is very possible that extraterrestrial life exists. Still the other life forms can be so different and strange to us that even if we someday meet them we possibly don't even notice them. The discovery of such life forms would trigger radical phenomena in our everyday life and would really change the world.

2. Q: Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?

A: Yes, we should. Basic mathematical & biological information, universal enough for every species to understand.

3. Q: Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?

A: I want to be among the firsts to discover extra-terrestrial transmissions. I wanna know...
