Personal background
Hi, everybody.
I'm a 30 years old frenchie living in Paris. I DO appreciate the idea of shared computing as you will notice. It's hard to believe that everyday an amazing computing power is lost due to the impossiblity to share it unless the owners of the boxes decide to do so. You might find my vision a little bit "communist" but see it clearly : what would had been possible in this world without the acting of those kind of authorities that we commonly call "States" ? Now, what if the universities were asked by those "States" to share the computing power they'd been given to, hu ? Do you really think it wouldn't be possible to achieve ? Would the students' work be less productive ?
Well ! I've tons of others interesting ideas like this one in my basket, and am hardly waiting to communicate them or even realize them... So, do not hesitate to "tickle" me by e-mail : cela.etant(At)free.fr,

I won't say much, like I read in other profiles, about me and my hobbies in particular as I prefer hoping some day we'll meet and you'll discover all that by yourself... What I wrote upon may be sufficient to determine the kinda fellow I am, isn't it ?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there's an ontological contradiction in the question if "ET life exists" as the word "life" understands "existence"... If so, the question should be inverted that way : "If life exists, do you think that it is only present on this small, blue, planet we commonly name 'earth' or in other parts of the universe ?"
Even that way you'll notice that the answers are already deeply limited ;-) / For me, a much more challenging question to wander through is : when and how will we be able to contact ET existences...
