I ama struggling sci-fi writer, living in Victoria, BC, Canada. I have written 3 novels (all upublished), to date, and will soon start my fourth. I am interested in talking with others who might be doing the same thing.

1.) Yes I think the odds are that extraterrestrial life exists. It seems against all probablility that we're the only ones in all the universe.
2.) I like the idea of transmitting a beacon... after all, that's what we're searching for. We should send the simplist of signals which can not be misconstrued as a natural phenomenum.
3.) I love almost everything abuot the Seti project... from the idea of thousands of independant computers working together, to the idea that we might help locate extraterrestrials. |
